I was walking through the school's main admin office one morning and there sat one of my favorite kindergarten students (albeit NOT the sharpest crayon in the box!!).
Assuming she was sick, I inquired as to why she was in the office.
She piped up proudly and said, "I'm going home. I've got LICE!" She sounded ecstatic!
